Losing Hope

Sometimes in life, in order to move forward you must face the past…
In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remains a mystery.
He is haunted by the little girl he let walk away from him and he has spent his entire life searching for her. He had hoped that he would finally gain closure and be able to rid himself of his guilt the moment they were reconnected. But he could not have anticipated that the exact opposite would occur and even more guilt and regret would be thrust upon him.
Sometimes in life, if we wish to move forward we must first dig deep into our past and make amends with it. In Losing Hope, readers will learn what was going on inside Holder’s head during all those moments that left him feeling hopeless and see whether he can perhaps gain the peace he desperately needs.

What can i say? if you have read anything of Colleen Hoovers then you know she is consistently good. I loved the story of Holder and Sky, both great characters.
“Hopeless” may well be my favourite book of all time, emotionally gripping well written, totally shocking.
I love this story and it was great to hear it from Holders point of view, but it basically is just the same story but without the shocks as you know whats coming next.
I don’t want to say anything negative as it was still as equally well written as the first one and i still got carried away with the emotion and cried repeatedly. However i read “Hopeless” a few months ago and was in fact ready to read it again, now i don’t have to. I would have been sorely dissapointed if i had read both books back to back. That is just my opinion though and i still think Colleen is one of the best story tellers around.

I really loved this book just as much as Hopeless. Dean Holder is just WOW ….. I really enjoyed reading the story from his POV. Would strongly recommend you read Hopeless and Losing Hope they are a brilliant read.
